ในอัลบั้ม Tear The World Down นี้ ยังคงมีเสียงอันเป็นแนวทางเฉพาะตัวของวง เปิดตัวด้วยเพลง Bury Me Alive ที่ซาวนด์หนักแน่นบวกกับเสียงร้องของ Carly ที่พีคถึงใจคนฟังอย่างแน่นอน

การกับมารวมตัวกันอีกครั้ง ของสามสมาชิกวง Evanessense อดีตวงแนว แนวโกธิคเมทัล จากฝั่งอเมริกา ที่สามหลักทั้งสามคนได้แก่ Ben Moody มือ กีตาร์ และ นักแต่งเพลง Gray และ LeCompt พร้อมด้วยสมาชิกใหม่แต่ฝีมือ จัดจ้าน อย่าง Marty O' Brien มาเสริมทัพ พร้อมกับนักร้องสาวหน้าใหม่ จาก เวทีประกวด Amerrican idol ปี 2008 ในรอบ final Carly smithson TEAR THE WORLD DOWN คือ อัลบัมชุดแรกของพวกเขา หลังจากที่ กระแส โกธิคเมทัลเคยฮิต ถล่มทลาย มาช่วงหนึ่ง พวกเข้าจะกลับมายืนผงาดได้ อีกครั้งหรือไม่คงต้องติดตามกันต่อไป สำหรับอัลบั้มชุดนี้ประกอบไปด้วย 11 track ด้วยกัน ประเดิมด้วย Bury me alive ฟังแล้วทำให้ หวลคิดถึง Evanessense ตัวนักร้องนำ Carly อาจจะโดนเปรียบ เทียบกับ Amy lee เพราะเสียงร้อง และภาพลักษณ์ในการแต่งตัว คงต้องให้เวลา เป็นเครื่องพิสูจน์ แต่เมนหลักแล้ว น่าจะอยู่ที่ Ben Moody มากกว่า เพราะเป็นคน ที่แต่งเพลง และทำดนตรี ตั้งแต่สมัยอยู่ กับ Evan แล้ว ส่วนทำนองและเมโลดี้เพลง ของเพลงนี้ ฟังแล้วติดหูเป็นเพลงฮิตได้ไม่ยาก ในอัลบั้มนี้นอกจากจะมีเพลงมันส์ แล้ว ที่ขาดไม่ได้คือเพลงบัลาดช้าๆ ซึ้งๆ อย่าง TRACK5 Sieep well, my angel ที่ขึ้นอินโทรด้วยเสียงเปียโน คลอเคลียด้วย เสียงเครื่องสาย กับ เสียงร้องชวนเหงา ฟังแล้วชวนหลับจริงๆ ก่อนจะมาสับกึตาร์เสียง แตกท่อนกลางๆเพลง เพลงนี้ Carly โชว์พลังเสียงได้ดี หรืออย่างใน TRACK1O I AM ONLY ONE ก็เป็นเพลงช้าๆ อีกหนึ่งเพลง ดนตรีของพวกเค้านั้น ผสมความ หนักหน่วงในแบบ METAL ในภาคกีตาร์ ผสมผสานกับดนตรี ออเคสตร้า ทำให้ฟัง ดูอลังการ กับเมโลดี้ที่สวยงาม แม้ภาคโซโล่ กีตาร์จะไม่หวือ หวา รวดเร็ว เหมือนกับ โกธิคฝั่ง ยุโรป แต่เน้นที่ความลงตัวของบทเพลงมากกว่า สำหรับใครที่คิดถึง Evanessense หรือชอบฟังดนตรีในแบบโกธิคเมทัล ด้วย แล้วไม่หน้าพลาดกับอัลบั้มนี้ ถึงแม้กระแสเพลงแนวนี้ จะซ่าลงไปบ้างแล้ว ก็ตามที |
